Why do you blog?
Why do I blog?
Why the hell not?
A recent turn of event had triggered this question in me.. When I was scolded and blamed just because I posted something in my own blog, without even revealing anything at all. Don't I deserve a little "freedom of speech"? Is there only negativity in the blogging world? Don't my opinion and my feeling count for something?
I for one, am a true believer in the invisible realm. First and foremost, I believe in Allah. Can't really see Him with our naked eyes but He's always there. I believe in auras in everyone. Can't see it too but if you try hard enough, you can actually feel it. I believe in tiny strings that we as human being need to live. The connection with our loved ones, friends and family are among the major strings in one's life. People might take it for granted but I truly believe that the more strings we have, the happier we will be.
Blogging to me creates those tiny strings.. I don't know what kind of people do read my blog, let alone enjoy it, but each and every one who reads will somehow be connected to me with those tiny strings.
It's just like a diary isn't it? Instead of keeping it under the bed, we now publish it to the world. I do it because I want to immortalize an important event, pour out whatever's inside without having to hear all the unnecessary advices from people who assume that they know everything. And also because I believe that people around me are mature enough to understand that whatever I write here are merely my very own opinion at that present time and without any intention to humiliate anybody or downgrade anything.
So in conclusion, Why do I blog?
Why do you care in the first place? You never cared before so why start now? And last I check, blogging is still legal in Malaysia. So deal with it!
